The crypto world truly is a world of its own.
So it shouldn’t come as a surprise to you, that it has it’s very own language & vocabulary.
One word you might come across when trading with Crypto & NFT’s is the word “boolish.”
What does “boolish” mean?
Boolish stands for “bullish.” It is either written that way on purpose for emphatic reasons or is simply a typo. You can often find the word “boolish” with regards to the positive development (=higher price) of a cryptocurrency or an NFT project. People will then say that they are bullish (boolish) on the crypto/nft project.
Being boolish on a cryptocurrency or an NFT project
If you are being boolish/bullish on a Crypto or an NFT project, it simply means that you think that is has a bright future.
And a bright future obviously means that you are certain that it’s price will increase.
People are “boolish” on Discord
If you have never heard someone say that they are boolish about something, it might be time for you to join some NFT Discord servers.
You will hear the word “boolish” all the time in there.
Let me give you an example:
The leaders of the NFT project have just made an announcement on Discord that they are going to airdrop a new collection to all it’s users.
In response to that, a user might say in the Discord chat room:
Boolish! When can we expect the airdrop? (or “Wen airdrop” in more proper NFT slang)
Oh, and before I forget it, the antonym of boolish (bullish) would be bearish.
As far as bearish goes, there is no silly way to write that one (yet).
At least not as far as I am aware of.
